Delete your account
You can delete your Wakea account and all data belonging to it at any time. The fastest way is inside the app; if you no longer have access to it, use the form below.
Delete it in the app (fastest)
- 1 Open Wakea and go to Settings.
- 2 Tap "Delete account".
- 3 Confirm with "Delete permanently". Your account is gone immediately.
An active subscription is not cancelled automatically. Cancel it in your Google Play subscriptions (Android) or your Apple subscription settings (iPhone) — otherwise it keeps renewing.
No access to the app?
Send us a deletion request with the e-mail address of your Wakea account. We will verify that the address belongs to the account and then delete it.
What gets deleted
Deleted permanently: your account, your e-mail address, all alarms, missions, statistics, streaks, family links and app settings. Camera images are never part of this — mission detection runs entirely on your device, and no photo or video is ever stored or uploaded.
Kept only where the law requires it: messages you sent us through a form are deleted once your request is conclusively answered, unless a statutory retention duty applies. We never store payment data — purchases are handled by Apple and Google.
Deleting in the app takes effect immediately. Requests sent through this page are processed within 30 days at the latest, as required by the GDPR.
